At Nefeli Nine, we like to think of the retreat experience as more than just a holiday. Yes, we guide you through the best and most unspoiled parts of Greece — but just as importantly, we introduce you to new perspectives and time-tested habits that can gently reshape your everyday life.

To help you extend the benefits of your retreat and weave what you’ve learned into your routine back home, we’ve put together a few simple rituals and reflections to support your integration.


1. Rest


Give yourself permission to pause. Our retreats are designed to replenish you, but they also involve plenty of movement — long hikes, refreshing swims, morning yoga — and the mental energy of staying present with new landscapes and new people.


Let your body and mind process it all. Take naps. Slow your pace. Savour the sense of calm you cultivated throughout the week. Rest is not a retreat luxury; it’s a habit worth carrying forward.

2. Unpack — beyond your suitcase


Perhaps your suitcase is already unpacked (and if not, no judgement), but we also encourage you to unpack your experience.


Sit with your thoughts. Journal. Share your reflections with someone close to you. Scroll through your photos while the memories are still vivid. Let everything marinate.


Inspiration sometimes arrives during a sunrise hike or a quiet moment on the mat — but just as often, insights come days or even weeks after the retreat ends. Give them space to surface.

3. Integrate New Habits


Throughout your week with us, we introduce you to the foundations of Blue Zone living: a lifestyle rooted in movement, purpose, community, and nourishing food — inspired by the regions of the world where people live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

Stay active: Explore local trails, join a hiking community, or plan your next adventure (dreaming counts!).


Cultivate stillness: Continue your morning meditations, breathing exercises, or journaling. Even a few mindful minutes can anchor your entire day.


Nourish yourself: Reconnect with wholesome food. Visit your farmers’ market or try recreating some of the dishes you enjoyed with us. Here are some of my favourite recipes.
